Weather was truly dreadful for low flying just north of Ipswich... The typhoons were just scraping along below the very low cloud base and avoiding/passing through heavy showers. Never seen them so low. Same for the Red Arrows.... Not surprised that some of the larger aeroplanes did not make it to L...

I know this isn't quite the right thread - but shall I post all the aircraft display timings for Fri/Sat/Sun (straight from the official programme) here? If you really want to go, but struggle on the hills... why not try road level at the east end of Talyllyn, parking available, quite an impressive corner, I would not climb hills with a poorly ankle, Cad East is possible if the track is OK. From road level the track is a 15 min stroll, followeed by 1...
