Re: lost black and white teddy cat

You probably won't believe this but as well as being at the airshow Sunday (didn't see the cat!) I also work around Lincolnshire every day and I swear yesterday I saw a little black n white cruddy toy near the kerb of a road I was on. Re: Waddington 2011... Thoughts and comments

Our 2nd time at Waddington and for the second time running we had a damn great day out. Thanks go to all involved with the planning, for me, my 70yr old uncle and my 4 yr old son it really was a fab show. Not too large to walk around, but big enough to be fascinating and little one absolutely loved ...

Re: MAKS 2009 - plus Moscow Museums

Travelled privately with my brother Adam and two of his friends...... Hotel Inn Sokolniki was very very nice.....modern, spacious, beautiful, immaculately clean and very well presented......faultless to be honest, and when combined with the "2 nights for the price of 1" offer we got it was...

Re: Charity Collector

I had a talk with the chap in question, as I'd seen him at the Biggin Hill show the weekend before, collecting in the car park. Having no reason to doubt his authenticity, I donated (coins only), as I found him to be friendly and talkative. He said that he was attending various events this year, an...

Re: Dakota LOW flyby here

Out of interest, and only being an amateur aviation fan (been to about 8 Mildenhall Shows back in the days......!!) is it normal for something like that to fly so low ??

Cheers

Well we are about 3 miles as the crow (Dakota!) flies from Wollaton Park so that would explain that.....

Made a lovely noise as it came over by the way.......!!!!

Dakota LOW flyby here

Hi all

Just walked out into the back garden here in Long Eaton, Nottingham, and witnessed a military liveried Dakota fly past at very low level, maybe 300 feet or so.

Heading away from East Midlands airport but not climbing.....??

Any ideas ?

Re: MAKS 2009

Yep, 4 of us going over for this

Travelling Business Class with BMI, should be fun.

Staying at Holiday Inn Express Sokolniki, £90 per night at discounted rates

Travel? Well from Domodedovo to the hotel will be via train and metro, then travel to and from the show more than likely by Taxi or bus.
