Very Nice David was the mount driven?
I would like to start using a Web cam or similar but don't have one, or a laptop, or a driven mount although mine is convertible.

My wife made me one from a scrap of leather type material and put in a kitchen bag full of lentils.
Very inexpensive but effective!!!!

Re: Air to air photos - perspex cleaning?

I'd appreciate some advice from the guys that shoot air to air photographs. I am going to be taking some pictures soon and I am going to have to shoot through perspex. Previously I would just shoot through the windows but this is important and I do not want to mess this one up. The camera ship is n...

The best thing about it was the car and the Soundtrack and about two really memorable lines Psst......you forgot to mention Sigourney Weaver ! Meh... Never really did it for me!!!! Re: New Ghostbusters trailer

Blimey, Rose tinted glasses in here the original was decidedly mediocre, remember the slot in the floor where the armchair slid back and awful puppetry / CGI. The best thing about it was the car and the Soundtrack and about two really memorable lines, (possibly not both in the first movie). This loo...

AN124 at LHR

Hi all, Hopefully better late than never!!!! These are the photographs I got during both visits of the AN124 to Heathrow to ferry spares and equipment to Miami to recover our AOG A380. Unfortunately I was borrowing a tripod that wouldn't lock no matter how hard I tried which did affect some of the p...

Re: Wireless Shutter release

Hi Paul,
Apologies for a late response to your advice. Funnily enough that was one I was looking at, I had even watched the manufacturers video but at no point did I pick up on it not being a radio version.

Again sorry for not replying more promptly.

Rgds,
Jeff.

Re: Doing well with Amazon

As for buying something cheap from China when you already doubt it's validity and it can't have been completely useless or why are you so pleased about keeping it? You read my post , then....you know , the bit whereI said my nieces wanted them despite me trying to convince them otherwise....?? Yep....

Re: Doing well with Amazon

As with all things, the overheads are built into the business model and we all end up paying in the end. Exactly. There was a good Dispatches programme on Yodel and free delivery. Lots of people have had issues with damaged goods, why? Because we all want cheap or free postage which of course has a...

Wireless Shutter release

Hi, I'm looking for a wireless shutter release to use with my 550D. I don't really want infrared as they can be limited angle wise so prefer radio. If possible I want to be able to programme it for time lapse although this is less important. Does anyone currently use,one they would recommend or avoi...
