Despite -5C temperatures eight hardy photographers attended the first Bournemouth Aviation Museum Night photo shoot. The format of the evening was after a short briefing from BAM staff, aircraft were lit using portable lighting in turn. Where possible all barriers, steps and flight tags were removed...

Blimey I hate to think of the cost of the redesign of the airspace around the London TMA needed let alone the cost of getting the Airfield CAA complient for the Licence... but hey ho!!

It is thanks to a car battery :) im told they wanted to fit an internal battery but the fitting is missing off the airframe

Hi Jeff,

I remember one flight where there was a slight miscalulation on the fuel front coming home from JFK and so when she parked up all the T4 BA staff were seconded to get on board one at a time so they could get the pax off without her tipping on her tail... oh happy days :heyhey:

"A VFR take off and cruise" Can't think of many airliners doing that within the UK as they are all in controlled airspace and filed IFR flightplans but thats a different thread Flybe certainly insist that ALL portable electronic devices are switched off prior to engine start and not switch...
