Well finally after four years of going to Axalp I finally got to the other side, quite simply no other place I could think of matches this location for low level togging, we started climbing at 01.00, five hour and 45 minutes to climb 10 km's starting at 5000 ft and finnishing just under 10.000ft is...

Being stored there till the Gloster Museum is up and running again, also the Javlin and Hurricane and that first jet that Whittle made (forgot the name shame) was on display and stored at the airport

Its great when someone wheels out the percentages to try and make an argument! They say that road deaths are falling all the time but the percentage of those killed on rural roads is rising. The thing is, if overall numbers killed falls and the rural portion of that falls at a lower rate, of course...

Holiday Inn near Gloucester I think, nearest place I could find. It was that or a ditch. That's the Barnwood one I think, that's where me and JackyRIATWilson will be!
