Re: beach tents/gazebos at airshows
It's an illness. Ladders, obsessive photography (never to be looked at again), wearing flying gear especially flying suits when you are 130kgs, patches, buying £50 already made metal models. No wonder NHS waiting times are up. You should know, you're one of us!! But I don't do any of that above, ye...

Re: RAF Marham Enthusiasts Day 2017
Laughable. Up there with Kempsford camping. At the right time of year/week that is literally a return flight to somewhere in Europe and entry into either a free or very cheap museum and back in time for dinner. Alternatively go see Tornado aircraft yet again as one has for the last 30 years. Oh and ...

Re: Reds to get new jets!
I see the AOC of 22 Group has quoted osd of Hawks as Navy 2020, 100sq 2027, RA 2030 but could extend to 2035. So how the RA are to get new jets I don't know (something that could be 19 years away). Talking of training aircraft I see Australia has 49 PC21s on order yet they have 95 fast jets. Compare...

Re: Reds to Get new jets!
They are a source of national patriotism and a symbol of Britain which we arguably need now more than ever. Andy So Britain is going it alone then? News to me! Aren't they also a symbol for Wales, Scotland and Northern Island? I must have missed the UK going through devolution since the Brexit vote...

Re: Reds to Get new jets!
The T2 wasn't allowed overseas even. Don't know if that has changed. There are a total of 28 T2s with the RAF, not sure buying another 12 would be vfm for the RA. As for T1s....18 at Leeming with 100Sq, 12 currently with the RA, a whopping 54 stored at Shawbury. Surely these 'new' ones will just be ...

What I find amazing is the time between these pics and the end of WW2 is less than the time span between the Falklands war and today.

Did anyone actually see those ladies get into the cockpit, fly and then get out? Nice leather though even without G suits.

If anyone has problems then don't go. The only reason I didn't was because I ran out of leave. I heard from previous trips that everyone is treated superbly (provided you don't put a newspaper with Kim on the front face down). And if that were me having paid £2k then I'd be happy to be treated super...

Re: Should we stay or should we go now?
A biggish bit of news went largely unreported a few weeks back, certainly by the British Bias Corporation. That £350m cost. We all know I hope that was the gross figure, take off Maggies rebate and its closer to only £175. Bargain isnt it to fund eastern european projects 10 years after they joined ...

Where do people get their frequencies from?
I thought of getting the latest Airwaves book as mine is from 2011. Seems it is no more. So what do you buy to have with you or do you get it all from the net? For military I always found the En-route supplement British Isles from AIDU at Northolt the best. And civil from AFE or Pooleys guides. But ...

Because the machine surely has to be the one visible! What's the point of a guy stood in a field being hiviz? In that case should not all humans within a 200m radius wear them so he can see them.!?

That Gov. doc doesn't really reflect much accuracy either since nothing in Bahrain/Afghanistan/Brunei is listed. Where on earth is the 1 Canberra that is listed?

Re: Flight radar Q&A.
I have this on PC, ipad and android phone. On the phone I paid extra for the alerts. I presume I would have to pay separate for the others since the os are different? When all I want of course is the same features on the app which I want to use.
