Re: Waddington Airshow 2014 participation

All uk military aircraft have to be paid I think in full by Cosford and Waddington it was a treasury ruling when Gordon Brown was Chancellor.

Re: East Midlands Landing Incident 29/4

Certainly rather quiet today as I live under the flightpath, one or two rumours going around the area early this morning about aircraft blowing up on the runway and thousands of people being taken to hospital all of them clearly false but it goes to show how people will blow things out of all propor...

Re: Will Liverpool win the Premiership?

What does my head in with managers these days is complaining about the other team using tactics to win a game when there team lose. It's getting to the point where managers are making out as if other teams are doing something awful by turning up and trying to win a game. Rodgers has done well but he...

Re: The People's Mosquito Press Release

Never thought I would say but yes I agree totally with Dano r.e. people only donating once it becomes a charity. In fact unless I have been paying no attention at airshows last year I did not see a single stand or person trying to raise money and public interest for the peoples mosquito project. The...

Dont really think its worth doing as most of the original cast are no longer around and it just wont seem right with other people playing the parts.

Re: Cosford 2014 News [MAIN THREAD]

Could an F-16 from Belgium not just fly from its home base display at Cosford and then go back home all in one flight or would it not have enough fuel to do so.

While of course I hope the reports are correct there has been nothing on sky sports news in the last hour so I would take anything on facebook / twitter etc with a pinch of salt until it comes from somewhere more official.

Is it known what time the Jaguar taxi run will take place and will this be the start of the show as it has been in the last couple of years, I might have to come via train this year and dont want to miss anything so just trying to plan the travel arrangements.

On the subject of free papers it annoys me to see copys of Metro thrown all over trains and buses most mornings, do people not know how to use a bin anymore.

Re: Show us your desktop

Why would a lot of desktop icons affect how quick a less than 1 year old pc loads up, I would not have thought it would cause any issues like that to be honest but maybe I am wrong. I would have thought only the total amount of data on the hard drive(s) would be an issue with how quick it loads up.

So it looks like David Moyes is on his way out of Man Utd, only real question seems to be when it will be confirmed maybe it will be when the New York stock exchange opens on Tuesday (Tuesday afternoon Uk time)

Re: The Angry Thread...

Red Dragon, yes I have seen on the card you can arrange re delivery online however its not the best option for me as I am out most of the day tomorrow and the same applies for the rest of the week. I guess the only option is a visit to the local sorting office to collect it, the real annoyance for m...

Re: The Angry Thread...

Royal Mail - well done on spending a load of money on a brand new fleet of vans in the area and now as a result cutting the local sorting office opening hours down to such an extent unless you happen to have free time in the middle of the day picking up a parcel from the sorting office is not the si...

The Daily Mail have run a story on this and managed to get it very wrong once again, saying the RC-135 is operated by the U.S. Army Air Force.

Re: Spotters!

At Coningsby a few months ago someone went walking out into a field full of crops to take photos (of the aircraft) when someone said to him it was wrong he said "not my crops not my problem" well there was a lot of swearing involved aswell but you get the idea. It is then them very same pe...
