actually, to be honest, the worst abuse I have heard myself is from "enthusiasts" at RIAT, either shouting at the traffic on the perimeter road driving past the 27 end P&V ( I know because I have done it myself, especially at a particularly well timed double decker just as the Mirage ...

I think the Vulcan missed one Duxford event, due to poor weather if I recall correctly. Could be wrong. IWM state it's a financial consideration. Yeah they booked them for one weekend and they appeared on the Saturday and weather caused them to miss the Sunday. TBH if that's the excuse Duxford have...

All Duxford shows only feature flying in the afternoon. In the morning you can get up close to the aircraft on the Flight Line walk.

KC-135's normally come from Mildenhall, and as they are very busy supporting ops in Libya you can understand why one might not turn up. As for yanks flying i believe they normally are confirmed later than the statics. Although judging by the fact no B-1b in the static i would doubt that one would be...
