Re: Lyneham Antanov 124 Landed

Anyone got any timing info on this Antanov at Lyneham? While trying to sleep at Kemble all of us were woken in the early hours of Saturday (or was it Sunday) morning by something very loud but slow passing overhead in the darkness... Best bets were this aircraft as it was too loud for anything more...

Re: Another F1 thread

It would be great just to get rid of the blue flag, These drivers are supposed to be the best in the world, so why not get them to prove it by overtaking cars. More action, plus it would make a huge gap become smaller.

Wow...if the PdF are displaying, I`m definitely going to this one! The last time they displayed at DX, on the Saturday, a couple of them flew around the area for about 20 minutes to get the lie of the land and then the rest joined in for a practice display. Pat & F-16 have operated out of Cambr...

Re: Heathrow Airport Parking

The last few times we've flown out of LHR we've got a hotel room and left the car there over the duration. If you take some of the special online deals (where they don't tell you the name of the hotel, other than it's 4*) it often works out cheaper than paying to park in one of the parking only one...

Re: October airshow

yeah surprised at that, thought jet teams were not allowed to display at duxford, There are no jets at Flying Legends (with the one exception of last year). Duxford has had the Red Arrows relatively often and as said, the PdF. You can also add the Breitling Jet Team (Team Khalifa) displayed there a...

Re: Hamilton stripped of Belgian GP victory

An absolute quality race is ruined by the FIA again, all because Ferrari didn't win. I myself will not be watching anymore races and not follow the sport anymore, as time after time decisions go towards Ferrari. How can Hamilton ever win the title with the governing body against him. He did nothing ...

Re: Friday: something happening?

I read in certain posts of people going to Duxford on Friday. I'm just wondering : what can you see at Duxford on friday as most planes are based there. I expect arrivals to be a minimum. Are there any rehearsels going on? And can you get near to the action, or is the airfield closed and do you hav...

Re: Please Tell Us What You Think About Our New Website

Site looks quality, I have 1 suggestion, it doesn't say a topic heading like the old site, e.g A heading of Blades display info under avaiation waffle was on the front page of the old website, where as on the new website it just states aviation waffle and who posted last on the topic. I hope you und...
