Re: RIAT 2019 - Issues

Stewards telling people to cut lines and therefore caused more delays for people queuing correctly, the scanners didn't work, they either need better scanners or scrap this. Didn't seem to be any traffic management from the car park to the main road an...

Re: Big jet tv fairford livestream

Out of curiosity I saw a part of the broadcast yesterday and should be renamed big joke TV. Appalling stuff. Awful coverage and guy had no clue about anything.

Does it though?

That's one hell of a seaside line up. Could you advise where this is happening so I can get tickets?

Do they do a search of your belongs (bags etc) when you go though the gate/s on entry. Nope, you're free to bring in anything suspicious. Messing, they do indeed takes no longer than 5 mins i have never had my bag checked at an airshow. RIAT included. normally get waved through. i must have a face ...

So they're closing the show on Saturday with an aircraft doing a couple of flypasts?? Seems weird.

Perhaps he will be escorted by a couple of Phantoms?

I read that as him solely attending for a conference - nothing aircraft related at all.

So what does any sensible business/organisation do in that situation? Charge full price for half the product, apparently. Can tell Andy works with RIAT in some capacity. Because he has a more realistic understanding of the situation than the experts on here? Exactly a much realistic view of things

Re: RIAT 2019

Absolute madness. The build up to this show has been ruined by poor PR. Here you have a show with flying Harriers, Su-27, MiG-21, F-35, a decent enough static park with Turkish Phantoms, and yet all of this has been eclipsed by random emails with star additions, mundane and pointless Thursday updat...

As already mentioned, this just makes me wonder what they were trying to arrange that clearly didn't work out.
