Manfrotto XPROB190 Tripod - collect at Northolt?

Manfrotto XPROB190 tripod for sale in excellent condition, complete with instruction leaflets, box and the little key for adjusting the leg lock tension. Used less than 20 times - at the Northolt Nightshoots and occasionally at home, so really is in fantastic condition. It's very strong and sturdy a...

Re: Annoying Heathrow Noise

Although the ILS is a 3 degree glidepath and is thus constant, altitude is based on air pressure (below the Transition Level), so a higher pressure means the aircraft are physically lower. (Or is it higher? One or the other!) Wouldn't they set the local pressure on the altimeter meaning they're alw...

Thanks for the feedback Jeff. I've just tried what you said and it works fine (i.e. stays in the mobile theme). That's on both a BlackBerry and a Nexus 7 tablet. Are you sure you haven't hit the "Switch to full style" link by mistake?

Re: Northolt Night Shoot lens choice

I have a 70D so bearing in mind the 1.6 crop factor what sort of focal lengths are useful for these events? I have a 15-85 mm, 55-250 mm and 100-400 zooms. I have a 30D (so same crop factor as the 70D) and I find my 17-85mm lens is perfect for most shots. Very occasionally I switch to something wit...

Thanks chaps. I presume people who have recently purchased got them second hand...? From a retailer like MPB, or from eBay? For MPB money, you can get one with a grip on eBay... But you don't get the warranty Not quite true - it depends on the seller. I bought an EOS 30D as a second body from a com...

What a great selection. And finally, still in 1968, Boeing 737 G-AVRL of Britannia Airways. http://imageshack.us/a/img600/1765/xnmo.jpg An interesting point (well to me anyway!) is that it still has the 727 style thrust reversers that were fitted to very early 737s. They weren't very effective and w...

It's an evening shoot, running from approximate 1800 to 2000, so daylight in July. Very good it is too.
