Re: Great Warbird Historic Flight in DCS
Yeah the network programming is pretty bad from what I've heard. Especially as VA is the biggest server I see on the list I can see it having big problems, but for the most part it works! Is the Corsair publicly available, or is it similar to the VBA F/A-18 model i.e. not for public consumption? I'...

Re: Great Warbird Historic Flight in DCS
yeah it can be depending on who is connected, if someone suffers any frame loss DCS doesnt know what to do with the missing frames One thing we learnt the hard way with DCS is that there are 2 different kinds of lag, network lag and missing client info (when someones fps drops so low the server is w...

Great Warbird Historic Flight in DCS
Hey Guys, Thought I'd post up some stuff that a friend and I have been doing for a while. For quite some time we have been the virtual counterparts to the Bremont Horsemen and priviledged to be endorsed and actively supported by the real team, For this year we have also started doing a duo display b...

That will be a substantial repair, not too mention the location and needing to get parts and labour out there away from any of the main bases

in all honesty I think it will go stateside.
There is alot more interest over there for a F86A then there is over here.
Shame, but its more likely thats where it will end up

Re: Spitfire and Hurricane - From the air
Also have just looked at this on another computer and there looks to be a strong green tint over the images, and look rather soft, whereas didn't get this on the screen I processed them on. Anyone else getting this? Yes I noticed it too, I fiddled about with it in PS and literally 30 seconds the hu...

Hi Katy,
I started airshow photography when I was 12 (now a rather embarrassing 18 years ago!)
Really good job, you should be very proud of them, I am sure your dad is of you!
Enjoy the hobby!

Strange as it may seem , I actually agree with Duxfordian !! { Bet that's shocked some of you !! } Unless the posters who claim to be "in the know" are either employed by TFC or have otherwise signed some sort of confidentiality / non-disclosure agreement , the only other reason for not p...

And they won't name names even though the same names keep cropping up. Not quite up to the same standard as Key's 'Burma Spitfires' thread yet , though. From where I'm sitting now, I can see Snafu through the open hangar doors. It's still here. Maybe they're still trying to organise a set of long-r...

Re: SNAFU sold?
The F86 has been up for sale for some time but there has been no takers that I am aware of, as such it will stay at Dux for the immediate future. As for the other departures, I am aware of 2 that are intended to leave these shores before the next airshow season starts but until it is made public by ...

Re: US flying hours are back....Until October
I was speaking to an F15 pilot from lakenheath a couple of weeks ago, he confirmed to me that they have been given funds for some flying. He was quite relieved as he has been here 4 months and aside from time in the simulator he hasn't flown yet. That said he told me they have been given 5 hours a m...
