Re: RIAT 2018 discussion
Hi all. We're going tomorrow and can't wait. How has traffic been this morning? We usually leave at half 6 from stoke on trent, but contemplating leaving earlier if we need to M6 down to Stafford j13 is average Speed camera. M5 over the oldbury viaduct is 30mph contraflow. Id leave earlier just to ...

Camping near Cirencester. I Join the green route at Meysey Hampton. I left my tent at around 0620 this morning and hit the back of the queue just coming in to Marston Meysey. On the base before 0645.
I'd not come in any later than that myself. Prepare to queue if you are leaving Brum at 6am.

Re: RIAT 2018 discussion
Well this f35 display is about as tight as a 90 year olds you know what! Considering that i thought we were only getting 3 flypasts i thought it was rather impressive we got to feel the force of the F135 engine! Not complaining. Agree it was a great noise and there were some tight turns. Just seeme...

Re: RIAT 2018 discussion
The wx looked horrendous out Gloucester way from my vantage point out West. From a personal point of view I was almost glad when the Lanc pulled back off the runway. I'd rather see it display for another 5,10,20 years than risk it for a flypast today.
Really frustrating but 100% the right decision.

Re: RIAT 2018 Arrivals
Will be back to normal next year wont it? I think most if not all air arms will have known how long they were committing to so I genuinely dont see it as an issue. It could however be the reason that some of the "expected countries" haven't agreed to send items. As a punter I/you have the ...

May get shot down for this, but, you go to an airshow to watch aircraft, not to watch a footie match, regardless if it’s a World Cup final. Just a shame Legends haven’t taken a leaf out of RIAT’s book! Not going to shoot you down..but its not just any old match is it.. Folk will be on their phones ...

Re: RIAT 2018 Arrivals
After paying 300 for accommodation 200 on tickets and 70 on train ticket i can’t help feel a bit meh about the lineup. I’m sure that’ll change once i’m there! Its only money. You could spend all that on a season ticket for football. Or a weekend at the f1. Plenty going on yesterday to reassure. Tod...

Whether you think it's spot on or not, it's already been done to death years ago, and is just another lame attempt at getting the hard of thinking frothing at the mouth. Nothing new ever gets said and frankly I can't understand why people even care anymore. Anyway, must go as I've got a train to ca...
