Re: Biggin Hill secondary Fence

I sporadically go to Biggin Hill for a breakfast. It seemed to go up before that event with the fire engines ect. The breakfast bar went up, then the fire engines arrived? Am I misreading that? loool, they had a sort of community event. Just in the airfield next to the cafe seating they had local p...

Re: Biggin Hill secondary Fence

I sporadically go to Biggin Hill for a breakfast. Once every few weeks. It seemed to go up before that event with the fire engines ect. I haven't been back since but presumed it would be taken down after that event. It made an extra line around that grass area.

Some facebook nutter out there right now is probably looking at that post thinking Krispy Kreme > American > OMG AMERICANS EAT DONUTS > F22 confirmed!

The longest day seems like a logistical nightmare from a neutral perspective, good luck to the team!

Just over 4 weeks to go. Now starting to feel the excitement!
Yep can't wait! Going down early Thursday and staying until the Monday. First ever arrival day and departures. I've had a different perspective of the static line up this year as I'll get to see them depart, can't wait!

Yeah feels like it’s too late for that to be added. Feels like the tornado anniversary has kind of fallen by the wayside

Re: RIAT 2024 wishlist.

Nice list I'm hoping that if the Saudi hawks come again this year it bodes well that they could bring different varieties in the future. Would love to see a Saudi Tornado or F-15. Definitely wan't to see the E-6 after it didn't make it last year. Be interesting to see what special flypasts do occur....

Looking back almost twelve months and as this was the thread starter, we await the USAF contribution but other than that you have Patrouille Suisse and a line up of F-16s, albeit your maths back then were lousy!

Result C- try harder.

Lovely to see the C390 demonstrator performing on the Friday, I wonder if it'll be on the ground over the weekend or if it's just a visiting display due to the logistics at Farnborough?
I was thinking the same thing, doesn't seem like it will be hanging around but who knows

Re: RIAT 2024 - discuss most things thread

RIAT is definitely continuing the theme of attracting farnborough displays! The f-15 and now KC-390 Yep! A Farnborough year can help RIAT, not every time but it has played out nicely this year. Nice bump of aircraft for the show and looking forward to the Friday! Another heavy in the air, can't com...

Wishing for:
RSAF Tornado or F15 !
I was weirdly going to put something like this earlier.

For the Tornado anniversary it would be nice to get the Saudi tornado on static! Chuck in the Italians and we would have every current operator?

Re: RIAT 2024 - discuss most things thread

I can actually see the Bulgarians attending this year as they’ve been ongoing for ages. (Doesn’t mean anything ik, India last year for example) but realistically a C-27 is all they would send as much as we would love a frogfoot or fulcrum or even hind. Albeit I’d like to be wrong. They added a fake tree line last year so none of us 'plebs' had a view of the western end! I also position myself on the 'western' side of the 'Eastern end'. Might need a rethink on where to set myself up Genuinely curious to what you're referring to here, as it's not something I remember ever ever...
