what max focal length do you need? If you don't need the 80- then the 16-50/2.8 SSM is very good. If you do need the longer length then the 16-105 & 18-135 are also worth considering.

seems a reasonable deal especially if the 1260 shots taken is true. An A77 would be better of course but also probably dearer ...
