Re: Boris Force One?
Hold on. How much? I’ve changed my mind. (Unless it’s due a repaint anyway and that plus the difference is nil/very little, as speculated above. Need to get to the facts though.) Nobody does facts anymore, they don't stimulate trolls and huge amounts of internet advertising profits. It would be pre...

Re: Noise reduction
I've actually found that NIK is the best solution for removing blue sky noise. One squirt of Dfine and its gone and without selection leaves the rest of the picture unaltered. I have various NR options and they are all different in the results that they get but for blue sky, you already have the sol...

Re: HMS Queen Elizabeth at Stokes Bay?
I know its not strictly aviation related but I didn't know where else to go... Anyway, does anyone know why shes moored in Stokes Bay rather than Portsmouth harbour? I watched it arrive on the IOW webcam on Thursday afternoon and shes been there ever since. I was wondering if it was something to do...

Re: Social Distance Spotting
Following an emergency session of the Council of UKAR and Plenipotentiary Bodies it is the decision of this board that given the absolutely baffling lack of any kind of clarity from the government as to what is actually allowed now and what isn't as well as the differences in the various countries,...

Heathrow Expansion??
I assume with Gatwick likely to have hundreds of free slots coming up, the case for Heathrow expansion will have a lot more difficulty moving forward. That will probably mean no movement for five years by which time costs will have escalated and planning will have to go back to square 1. As an aside...

I cant imagine better airshow weather today and last weekend was also very nice. Just to twist the knife, what events, if any, were scheduled this weekend? (makes you wonder if Airshows can be sheduled this early? it's just perfect out there) Many years ago it used to rain a lot in September but th...

looks like you are buggered because they are still taking bookings and apparently running some flights to Paris until the end of the month. Nothing from 1st April. I hope that people like me may be in a better position as the flights won't exist.

I've got one on 12th May, so not much chance me getting a cancellation on that then. If they ground the fleet surely they have to cancel flights.

Re: Airline brinksmanship over Covid-19
Here's my predicament; we were due to fly with 2 bikes to Paris on Saturday (we have cancelled the hotels and the ferry back is cancelled anyway) but we have nearly £200 tied up with eJ; I don't really want to commit to making the same trip any time before Feb 2021 which is when the offer closes. I...

Given the flow of Brexit, Politics and even Movies threads you would think that this forum contained a good cross section of society. Yet we haven't had one person yet justifying why they stock pile Loo Rolls and Pasta. They must be train people.

Thoughts with those finding out the news through social media and not their union/management this evening, including our own DanL, who flies with them. Crappy news. The media are saying 2000 jobs but loads more depend on them. Southampton is 90% flybe flights so that's everybody from toilet cleaner...
