The second P-3, head-on C295, and final Atlas shots are superb.

Not aurora borealis but another photographer walked in front of me whilst I was shooting the A400M which was a minor inconvenience of the open ramp and people not sure where they could go ...
Psst, you're not supposed to tell anyone :)

Great images, another vote for the Xingu and the P-3 photos.

Excellent set! Particularly liking the first Atlas, the Irish all lined up, and the P-3/Merlin.

Well there is a piston engined military schemed Tracker flying at an airshow this weekend.
One of many stars that will be flying! Such as a Neptune, Caribou and Consellation.
Last time I checked, Australia is quite a distance from Gloucestershire...

Typically, when two ACC demo teams are at a show together, both aircraft will participate in the Heritage Flight. Nine times out of ten, the warbird is a P-51, but West Coast shows seem to get a bit more variety, so might be something different.

Facing into the sun seems to be a common theme at West Coast shows - although your F-35 image proves that it isn't always a bad thing!

Excellent set. The P-38 and Dauntless are real beauties, and I really like the TBM/Corsair shot.

In terms of modern mil, notwithstanding the RS C-130 mentioned above, there is (or was) a USAF C-17 kicking around with them, too.
Still is! Hopefully it makes the rounds at public events this year...

I haven't been to London since pre-COVID times, and they're still doing the drive-in format that they instituted then, so I don't know what it's like. The Phantom is parked outside next to the JP and an F-15. They do keep them pretty clean.

Air Heritage Aviation Museum Wings & Wheels

The Air Heritage Aviation Museum, located in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, about forty-five minutes north of downtown Pittsburgh, is best known as the home of "Thunder Pig," the world's only airworthy C-123 Provider. The museum hosted a small "Wings and Wheels" event in late May - ...
