I had given Northolt my home number rather than mobile so it wouldn't have been possible to text. Amazingly they actually phoned m...

Re: RAF Tucano preservation?

Rumor has always been that the Shorts Tucano were all hand built so there is a lack of 100% commonality across the airframes. Whether many other airforces would want these is a good question. I would be surprised to see many in preservation, just like the Harriers and GR4's. Would the CAA allow the...

Re: Axalp - or how i nearly killed myself....

Hi Dave, Nothing wrong with those shots at all Glad you've got the Axalp bug and will be back. There is a slightly easier(I think) route up the mountain, where you come up into the valley that the aircraft fly along. The only issue is that you have to be on one of the very first buses up to Axalp in...

Sorry to hear of Paul's health issues and wish him well for the future. UKAR has been my goto site for the best part of 15 years. Thanks Paul for going to the the trouble and expense of running it The UKAR enclosure at Kemble was a lot of fun too. I would have no problem at all in paying a subscript...

Hi all
I'm thinking of spending a day at either Corris Corner or The Spur, could any experts on here tell me the good and bad points on either location, both being new to me.

Thanks in advance.

Re: RAF A400M query

The Spanish registered Airbus demo aircraft - EC400 - that flew at RIAT had an RAF100 sticker on the tail.
I believe it will become the final RAF A400M in due course.

Cheers
