Re: F1 2018

I'm a fan of good racing and we've had that today, although unsurprisingly tactics have now come into play.

Re: F1 2018

I think for the sake of the championship we could do with a Vettel win this weekend. 6 races left. 150 points maximum that can be won. Lewis needs 111 points for the title. If Lewis wins this weekend, he can then finish second in every remaining race and still win the title. The pressure on Vettel ...

Let’s just hope it’s replaced by something British at least. T.2 probably, unless BAE comes up with something in the next 12 years.

Don't BAE forbid any aerobatics in the Hawk T.2?

Re: Will the classic jets ever return?

I hope that the Classic jet scene in the UK will pick up again once the legal proceedings post Shoreham have been dealt with. Once the negative connotations that are currently associated with the Hunter diminish, i'd imagine we'll see a couple return to the skies on the UK display scene. This may t...

Re: RAFAT: In decline?

What about the Bomb Burst, that used to finish their display. Last time I saw it was the early 80's. I suspect the name wasn't PC and may have become the Parasol Break. Nothing like 9 aircraft climbing in a loop, and diving and breaking all ways at the top of it. Blue sky with white smoke, underexp...

Re: Bournemouth Air Festival 2018

Well the line up certainly wasn't that strong, but four days of warmth and blue sunny skies helped make it a decent event. Everyone got to display in glorious conditions on every day, and I think the only act that went u/s over the weekend was the gravity (is a 'female dog') jet suit team! *splosh*

Re: F1 2018

Just caught up on the highlights show and thoroughly enjoyed the race.

Had pretty much everything you want, just a shame that Kimi couldn't hold on for the win. Bottas is a great team player; it's no wonder Mercedes wanted to keep him.

As for the 'VttS want this thread shut' and 'UKAR are scared of VttS' paranoia. Bloody hell, what a load of tosh! IMO you were doing pretty well up to that point Reds Rolling... But now the obvious question is: "How do you know that?" The mods have stated above, 'no dialogue with VttS sin...

Re: Where has XH558 thread gone?

There's a fresh crop of comments criticizing the use of funds and high wages, etc. If you're quick you might catch a glimpse before Red Rolling gets such "crazyness" deleted. So do you have any actual proof I'm involved with VttS or have you just jumped on O Hagan's little bandwagon as we...

Think it'll be down to the weather, whether I go to this one.

Wouldn't mind seeing the Breitlings, but only if there's a decent blue sky for them to perform in.

Re: Where has XH558 thread gone?

Bernarde, you've got a massive axe to grind when it comes to VttS and that's fine, but it's clear to see that if anyone here has been in the employment of VttS, it's most likely to be YOU rather than me. You seem to have all the 'inside' stories that apparently check out, so rather than going round ...

Re: Where has XH558 thread gone?

RR masquerades behind a username because that's all they know how to do.. same with Trotter, Same with Edmonson, and same with Homer - all a bunch of cowards. I'm not masquerading as anyone from VttS, as I've always maintained, and the only people who seem to have a problem with that are simpletons...
