Re: Meteor’s at Baginton Air Pageant

That opening pairs shot is stunning. Lovely set.

Do you know if this was just a one off or are there plans to display them as a pair at any other shows?

Re: Military Pageant Sunday 5th July

Another great Sunday at OW. Excellent organisation - in and parked up by just after 8:30. No problems getting out once the Seafire had departed. Strange seeing OW that busy so early on in the day but should be a well deserved payday for them. Star of the show was the Blenheim - superbly flown & ...

Superb. Thanks for posting. Great to see the aircraft pre 1985 as that was the first show I remember attending.
Love the Mirage IV from 2003 - what a plane!

Re: Cosford 2015 - The Feedback Thread

Pro's: This year I took a friend who was disabled so able to use his blue badge which meant I was parked down the station end for the first time. Quickest I've ever got on/off the airfield since I started going which I think was 2008. Parked up by 07:15 and out within 5 mins of moving the car at 18:...

Last repair for me was a lens and 1.4x extender in May 2013. Can't fault any service/repairs I've had done at Elstree. Wouldn't use anyone else. Excellent service.

I can't remember a better display at Old Warden in all the years I have been visiting. A magical place that deserves weather like it had yesterday. Although it was busy it was still so relaxed. Truly stunning flying throughout. Fantastic to see the BE2C pair and the Comet and nice to see the BBMF pr...

Huey shots are fantastic along with the in cockpit ones. Still can't get over how good the Merlin looks in that camo scheme.
Also nice to see the human side represented with some superb close ups of the crew. Quality set

Re: Culdrose Airday 2014 Sea Fury Crash Landing

Having watched BBD tumble out of the skies, I can guarantee that it isn't something you want to experience in real life. Have to agree. After yesterdays incident I think that is six crashes I have witnessed at different shows over the years. Horrible experiences. Hard to describe that feeling when ...

Like the last 2. Looks like these were taken as they come out of Surtees towards Pilgrims Drop. Were they taken through or over the fence. If over, what size step ladder did you use?

Re: Dust on sensor - why do I seem to get so much?

I replaced my cameras this year and the new ones have the EOS Integrated Cleaning System. Although Canon say the EOS ICS is highly effective I've not noticed any difference. The sensors still pick up the same amount of dust as they did with the non ICS cameras.

They said the P-8 and 787 were not displaying as a mark of respect by Boeing for the Malaysian 777 that crashed.

Well worth going today just for the Harrier.

Also another warning, if you are bringing a bag expect problems getting in. Haven't encountered any major problems the last two days. Parking in Queens Parade there were plenty of buses running to the airfield. Queued for about 20 mins Tuesday and was in at 09:35 but no security checks as I was jus...

No problems getting in and out again. In the holding field by 07:30. Checking tickets in the holding area worked really well as it meant once the gates were open we went straight in. Sat and waited in the car until 19:30 and was across the runway and out within 10 mins, same as last year. Highlights...
