Re: My flying career - DHC-2 Beaver
This is looking to be a intersteing build to me. We see them all the time over here but with floats. The kit looks to be a very thick plastic from the pictures? If so.. lots of room for sanding off that top section for a nice seamless joint. The oversized rivets... My honest opinion... I wouldn't wo...

Re: Asian Modern GB-1/72 scale Shinmeiwa WIP
Thanks for all the comments everyone. I must say. When this kit is done. I'll stay away from older kits for now on. For a basic kit that I thought... It's turned out to be a nightmare. If I get one piece to fit without filler. It'll be a miracle. I have the wings almost done and painted. The fuselag...

On another note though. This is looking like another great show.

Spring training at CFB Comox BC Lots of pics!
First let me say sorry for the amount of pictures. This was my first time out this year catching fast movers instead of the slower landing civvies. The Mrs and I took Thursday off of work and took the ferry over to the Island to catch some of this years spring training at CFB Comox for this years ai...

Wow! this kit came out of nowhere for me being away and all. Nice work with the flaps and slats but most of all the photoetch and decal work.

Re: Asian Modern GB, Chinese JL-8
Nice work with this one. It's always hard to do red on white... I trashed an earlier Snowbirds CT-144 kit a year ago because of the same problem with huge runs that couldn't be corrected. Nice to see something new.

Thats looking to be a very nice looking kit. I thought about buying this one a few months ago and turned it down. Now I'm kicking myself since it's hard to find in my area now. Nice work done on this one.

Asian Modern GB-1/72 scale Shinmeiwa done to late
Here we go.. Just started my Asian group build the Shinmeiwa. I started this on Saturday and here is where I sit today waiting for the glue to dry fully. The kit so far is a horrible fit. The lack of spars to keep the fuselage spaced apart is one major problem. Another is the very basic instructions...

Nice work and a great page. I downloaded the Wyvern S.4 and the Ark Royal. They both look great and no flaws that I can see. Built a new computer just for FSx (also FF5) and DX10. Sofar running Intel I7 920 overclocked of course Vista64bit to use the full on 6 gigs of ram. The only thing holding me ...

Re: UKAR Group Build 2 Modern Military: finished kits here
Back again and the two Corsair's are done. I wanted to do a work in progress thread. Time became an issue. I did take all the pictures through the build for it. The only problem was working out time to edit, upload then post. So I just ended up finishing the kits. I'm seeing some very nice work done ...

this may sound like a odd question...
As the topic says... How do you get the chairs on the grass front? I like mach 3 for the higher up. But for some reason I am thinking there are to be better chances at pictures from the low areas. So what is that row? Mach 1,2 or 3? and how do you get them? If I can get one of those chairs by reques...

Had a little fun before the GB
After working many hours in the past two weeks. Also hunting down kits for the GB.. I found this kit in a hobby shop. It had "Buy" me writtin all over it. Not an entry to the Asian GB.. Just more of a side fun project. Hasegawa's egg F-4 http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v609/Fumbles/K20Te...
