Re: RIAT advance tickets only

Why the sudden need to know how many people are coming to the party?. The Air Tattoo and all other airshows have done just fine without this pre-emptive knowledge, Waddington 2008 ended up turning people away; many of which had advanced tickets due to the sheer number of people buying on the day al...

Re: Birmingham International Airport Runway Extension

Catherine-de-Barnes and Bickenhill are currently safe. Mainly farm land is being used... the A45 is being diverted and also being placed in a tunnel as it will still pass far too close to the threshold. Otherwise apart from some new slip roads.etc at the moment thats it. Good news is there will be a...

Re: A.Net Consistency

Ah, but if I'd done a long exposure I could have got exactly the same result without having to to merge two shots. As Damian says, it's surely the final image that matters, not how you arrive at it. Mark Being technical for a econd. At the night run it would not be possible to create that shot in o...

Re: A.Net Consistency

Uploading a modified shot is one thing as long as there is a comment on the image clearly stating the case. However, not placing a comment can be seen as trying to pass off the image as something its not ie. "real". I think that is the crux of the matter here. I can understand a.net giving...

Whats been going on at Brum today?

Reason I ask is we've not just had a 99Sqn C-17 in today (which sadly usually means a medivac flight from somewhere sandy); the second time (atleast) this week.

But also, we've had a Belgian AF C-130 today.

p.s. The serials for Mr Hibbert were: ZZ172 and CH-05
