Thats just inspired me to re-install IL-42 tonight....
I like taking off from Hawaii in a single plane and try to take on an entire formation of bombers.... see how many I get before I run out of ammo or blown out of the sky!

I may be late but this has made me sad...
I've only just heard about this; so apologies if it has been discussed before. The Lanc had an engine problem which stranded it in Holland however, our very own RAF would not send a transport to ferry a replacement Merlin out to her citing cost and commitments as per bloody usual. Instead, we had to...

Ta, apparently this is a Gov to Gov deal so if its confirmed; they will be from the RAF Tranche 3 initial batch.
So yes; they will be built at Warton but it will be like the Saudi order; it will mean much slower or delayed Tranche 3 deliveries to the RAF.

Re: Update Today?
Well that's a tasty little update for me, looking forward to seeing the Growler and HuAF gripen especially I just counted no less than 10 static F-16s, plus the RNLAF F-16 on flying. Is anyone planning on complaining about that because I'm not... I'd say we were almost guaranteed one or two from Be...

I have PM'd him a screenshot of the message (then atleast I can't be accused of typing it myself aswell!); it was a private message between myself and Zeke so out of respect its not coming on the open forum. I dunno, take the trouble to actually go and find out from the Horses mouth and get this; I ...

I can testify that the 70-300VR is a superb lens; I use it as a back-up to my Bigma for close-up slow shutter and bad weather work.

Going on that logic; the Osprey was on RIAT 2000's brochure... F-22 on 2007's... a 74Sqn Typhoon on 1999's.....

Looks pretty good to me. Funny aircraft the J-10. Every time i look at it i see a different aircraft blended into it. Nose area looks flankerish. Step back a bit and i see a Gripen in there. rearwards and i see a bit of Typhoon. Is it just me? The J-10 is basically a license built Lavi. The US were...

Re: Reduction in RAF Display Appearances 2009
Sadly its not just the RAF; the USAF have much reduced particpation for some of their teams (particularly F-22) this year. Sign of the times and a government that don't know what a Balance sheet is I'm afraid. People demand that UK Typhoon displays are not cancelled and non-UK ones are; then also wa...

There is an Asda, Maccy D and Pizza Hut just inside Swindon, the other side of Blunsdon; the site also has a fuel station. At Blunsdon, next to the Premier Inn there is also a gastropub called the Cold Harbor. EDIT: Never saw the bit about not having a car lol! Sorry! http://www.evansaviography.co.u...
