Silly idea. I'm a display pilot and I just fly an aeroplane at airshows. Nothing special. There's far more deserving people out there who deserve recognition. PS. 3 minutes is what the regulations require for a Licensed aerodrome. North Weald is Unlicensed, and therefore does not require fire cover to operate. To put it into persepctive, if you live in the countryside in a 'D Risk' area, there legal requirment is for one fire appliance to arrive within 20 min...
