Saturday the 6th of November will forever be in my mind, The Lancaster night run at East Kirkby was a joy to behold. To witness a Lancaster 'taxi' back in, slowly appearing out of the Darkness, was such a poignant vision that I cant recommend this event enough. Maybe I am over reacting to what I witnessed? but the Patons are to be applauded for making at least one person walk away thinking of the sacrifices of the thousands from Bomber command who didn't get to do what Just Jane did that night.
Hope you like.
A chilly yet humbling experience.
