AJ841/G-BJST ferry flight to Duxford

Post by hmeasures »

Just one for now, pretty dreary light though. Should be based at Dux now offering pleasure flights via Classic Wings.

Thanks to Stuart and Barry for the flying :)

For those people wondering about the paint scheme, that was down to myself and Shane Clayton of the Canadian Harvard Aircraft Association. We were asked by the owners to come up with a Middle East scheme and I chose AJ841 as one of the units it served with was No.154 Squadron that was originally based at Fowlmere a few miles down the road from Duxford. The repaint was completed by RS Paintworks at Fishburn.

Is also the first time that a MK.II canopy had been fitted to a MK.4 to make it look the older variant.
