Travis AFB Heritage Centre

I visited the Travis AFB Heritage Centre this summer. It's located in the middle of the base so if you want to visit (and you're not a US citizen) you need to contact the centre a few weeks in advance and provide your passport details for security checking. It definitely worth a stop if your nearby (it was right on our route from Lake Tahoe to Napa). It's got a great selection of US transport aircraft as well as some 50/60's jets and inside an extensive collection of Jet engines.

Great shots, I went there in 2013 during the government shut down which meant there wasn't anyone who could show me around - so they just gave me a base pass and sent me in!!!
