Vulcan XL426 engine run Southend 08-06-2019

Post by andygolfer »

Vulcan Restoration Trust at Southend held an engine run for their members at no cost yesterday - what a wonderful gesture and what a wonderful hard working group they are! Thanks guys.

how wonderful it was to hear the sound of 4 olympus engines at high power for the first time in ages!

some pics, unfortunately towards the sun so not ideal.......

meanwhile 170 miles to the north you could hear the same noise for £125 more!

It's only £25 (or £32 for a family membership) which we think is great value. You also get two copies of our magazine, Vulcan News, each year and free entry to our Visit the Vulcan Days, the next one of which is this Sunday, 16 June.

You can join on-line at our website: https://www.avrovulcan.com
