Arizona relics

Post by BDL »

Spent a few days in Arizona, had planned to go to Yuma and El Centro for the shows then have a few days at the fence in Tuscon. Well that went well! Flew back early as the BA flight from Phoenix was cancelled but one of the highlights, well the absolute highlight, was a trip to a private Boneyard.

This trip was the first time I'd used my new Nikon Z6 in anger, lots to learn, but I like it a lot!

As ever C&C's welcome.

Some interesting relics, that Ames C130 is an unusual bird. Is it slated for preservation or breaking??

Sorry to hear your trip got cut short, such strange times.

It's probably slated for breaking eventually.

Thought I'd pop this one up too.

Certainly the front fuselage of a Viscount in the background of the last Dak shot but is that a Convair 880 nose next to it ?

Very nice set images - look very sharp...and the subject matter is superb...
