Air-to-Air with N3200 - Duxford 23/08/2020

Post by Jetnoise »

Finally managed to use my 60th Birthday pressie from my Mother and Brothers this morning thanks to the chaps at Classic Wings - a great experience!

Sometimes the view from the Rapide was a little restricted, but all part of the charm - there were plenty of opportunities to get clean shots.

Excellent shots Ralph, you are obviously much handier with the camera as my shots from last year didn't come out nearly as well. Still a fantastic experience and well worth doing, I was very lucky and had the experience bought for me as a birthday present by my wife and in-laws.

Nothing quite compares to having a Spitfire fly right next to you, poetry in motion. Yes I know that's gushy of me, but it's 100% justified.

Really glad Classic Wings have been able to resume these kinds of operations, they deserve every success with it.

I'm pleased you enjoyed it Ralph and those are excellent shots of the Mark One. I'll pass on your thoughts to my colleagues at Classic Wings who I'm sure will appreciate them (Just out of interest I was the bloke doing the Rapide "briefing" before your flight.)

They really are a great set Ralph, particularly with the 'challenging' light.
