A few photos from a visit yesterday to see the newly opened Battle Of Britain exhibition at Cosford, appropriate with today being Battle Of Britain Day.
Lest We Forget.

The display takes up part of the Warplanes hangar, with the JU88 and Bf-109G on the opposite side representing the German forces.
Where appropriate it is stated that the aircraft on display are representative of types that fought in the battle, and not the actual variants that were operational at that time.
Quite an interesting display with some of the other artefacts on show, and as far as I can remember this is the first time a Battle Of Britain display has been put on at Cosford - please correct me if I am wrong.
One thing that I did find of benefit when photographing the aircraft were the small uplighting spot lights under most of the aircraft in the display, that brought out some detail which would otherwise have gone unnoticed.
