Amsterdam

Post by Indiaecho2 »

Hi,

I spent a day in May at Amsterdam - here are some shots, all taken from the excellent observation deck.

I didn't have long to wait before I saw the highlight of my visit, Kalitta 747 N794CK:-

I saw several Correndon aircraft over the course of my day:-

Three China Southern aircraft visited - here are an A330 and 777 freighter:-

There is never long to wait before a KLM 747 moves:-

Amsterdam attracts plenty of freighters, such as Etihad's A6-DDA:-

It looked like Corsair 747 F-HSEA had been visiting Amsterdam for maintenance - I love the new livery:-

It was the day of the Europa League Final which was played in Amsterdam, and several aircraft had bought supporters to the match, including Jet 2 G-GDFD:-

KLM now have a large 777 fleet, comprised of -200 models and the -300 variant such as PH-BVA:-

I hope the photos are of interest - over 160 more can be found at http://www.flickr.com/photos/indiaecho/

Hi.

Thanks very much - the observation deck is a great facility. It is great to be right in the middle of a busy airport for once and able to see all the apron activity rather than being stuck on the perimeter like we are at most UK airports.
