Amsterdam August 12th 2020

Post by thebobster »

Morning all,

Had a quick trip over to Amsterdam this week, train to London, flight out of Heathrow on G-EUUZ, then I returned yesterday on the BA431 service currently operated by a Boeing 787-800 on selected days, my flight was operated by G-ZBJG, now awaiting my flight back up to Newcastle from LHR.

I can also highly recommend the Hampton by Hilton at Hoofddorp, quite close to the Kagbaan (30 minutes by foot). Also very close to the station.

Anyways, on with the pictures, hope you enjoy!

Rob

Surprised to see the KLM passenger 747, I thought they only had a couple of freighters left now.

It's a combi so there's some useful cargo space on the rear main deck (you can see the main deck cargo door in the picture just behind the wing).3 have been kept in service for this purpose.

Certainly nice to see them flying, not sure it's worth going back though at the minute!
