Insane update! A340  An-30 :astonished:

I was making an attempt to go to this years show blind (in terms of the participation, rather than with my eyes covered). In some ways I wish I had, but these updates are too tempting to resist reading :nerd:

The show is fantastic as it stands now for me and with more updates to come, the A10 and B1 flying would be icing on the cake which is tasting very nice already. Cannot wait for July.

No it isn't.

Its looking a very good show, but until we start to see multiple MiGs, Sukhois, Tu22Ms, SR-71s, or even 40 C-130s, 40 tiger unit aircraft, or similar based on a theme lets not get carried away.

lovely update, really boosting the static. Great commitment from Germany and the Romanian Clank will be a static highlight. Don't think I've ever seen an A340 close up before/

Great to see the Sea King and Wessex on static too.

But those days are long gone sadly.
In the context of an ongoing conflict in Europe and a world emerging from a once in a lifetime pandemic, I'd go with insane myself 😉

Can you imagine after 2 years, how many airshows around the world must be fighting for all the fast jets to be at their display like the typhoon and Gripen? I wonder how they choose which ones they'll attend.

CH-53 is immense, but the German H145 is a really cool addition, too.

The H145 is a perfect example of (relatively) boring civvi machines becoming much more interesting the moment they get some military markings and a couple of extra lumps and bumps.

Great update! I've always wanted to see the CH-53 and I won't complain about an AN-30 either.
Now lets see what Poland can bring with all three air arms in discussions.

Don’t think I’ve seen a sea stallion before so looking forward to that arrival! But every aircraft in that update gets me excited

A bit like a P8. One minute you're waiting to board one to Ibiza, the next you're looking forward to seeing it at an airshow. Or how about a Voyager / A330 ? I have to admit to looking forward to seeing 336 though.

Nope, not there in 2017, 2015, 2010, 2007 & 2006 according to RIATs listings for those shows on their website.

Yeah, or Bird Dogs or anything - the list is pretty extensive (though they’re more exciting than civvi versions, for what they are I still find the P-8 pretty soulless!)

possible that DBH have asked for them to take it off the public schedule to avoid confusion?
What confusion? If it's not listed on airtattoo.com; it's not confirmed for RIAT.

Cheers,
Peter

Although a regular, i'm really looking forward to seeing the Belgian F-16 in it's new scheme. Much better than Dark Falcon imo!

The new scheme has not yet ready. The demo is still in the paint shop at this time.
