Topic of the week #19 - Canberra

Post by capercaillie »

Perhaps one of the most versatile workhorses to see service with the UK forces but also widely exported around the world and licence built in the USA, when it first entered service it could out perform many jet fighters flying with the world's air forces. Its been a world record holder for altitude reached and also heavily modified by the Americans into high altitude reconnaissance platforms.

Lets see five of your best of the Canberra or B-57 variants.

One day I'll get around to digitising the old stuff.... sorry for heavy reliance on XH134.

Ooops should have been Topic #19.

Very envious of Derek's T22, saw a couple including that one, but never got any of my own photos.

As with Highlander there can be only one and I'm going with Andy's lovely image of XH134 displaying at RIAT 2006 in its last month of service, over to you Andy.
