Well there's something you don't see every day. Went out for a walk with the camera to hopefully catch the swans on a local loch flying. The two resident swans and their two cygnets had their patch invaded by two swans and nine cygnets and the two males were doing a bit of posturing and at one point two adult swans and the nine cygnets were airborne. They had just landed back on the loch when I heard the sound of jet engines and this flew by. I was a bit surprised when I finally made out it was an L39 and assumed it was one of Drakens out of Tees side heading West for the exercise, but when I got back home and checked on the Radar, it took off from Blackpool and headed back there not long after it passed me. So some very rare Saturday action for me today.

One jet that I'd love to see - perhaps an L29, L39, L159, L39NG family line up somewhere next year please?
Right place, right time, great catch.
