No it doesn't

The Restriction of Flying Regulations notified throughout this Circular, creates flying restrictions by reference to two sets of timings. This is to cater for the possibility of a delay due to poor weather. If the earlier times are used, the later restrictions will be lifted by means of the necessary clearance or permission.

Fingers crossed the elements are kinder for all attending today.,(Iam off to beachyhead).

Would you feel that way if the parachute jumps had taken place yesterday? We also had the US fighters yesterday, the 3-ship Dakota display, the Aces High display, and a superbly flown Spitfire pairs display in the conditions.

Did the US contingent of Hercules and Ospreys come through today?

Nice - was hoping they would then come over my house although clearly they routed differently (it was a long shot I know).

Ok so to confirm there is now just 1 mass departure at 15.10 rather than 2 smaller ones at different times as stated on the NOTAM.

Just want to make sure im around in sunny Kent on the centre line at Detling.

2 Daks plotting on FR24 mid-channel at 11:30L ex Cherbourg. N74589 & N24320. Presumably the other 3 are there as well.

There's only one time slot that will be used - there are two times given as a reserve in the event of a delay.

Roger that, so we have according to the NOTAM 14.10-1515 from Dx. Which we now know is confirmed as 15.10. Therefore plus 20mins ish to be over Maidstone area.

Hi Stu.

Gives me extra time to have lunch. I am going to try the Mall Multi-storey Car Park in Maidstone, take the binoculars along.

From the IWM Duxford Twitter feed:

*Daks Over Duxford flying update*

The mass Daks departure is now scheduled for 15:24. #DaksOverDuxford

Presumably then it will be 16:30 or thereabouts before they get to Beachy Head.

Are there any displays planned for today or is it just the daks leaving later? Just it said freefall parachute team display at 12pm and a Dakota solo but neither have happened so far?

Thanks

Have they taken off yet? There is nothing wrong at the drop zone. Cloud base okay and only just a spit or two of rain in the air. Apart from that it has been dry all day here in Sannerville.
