Just looking at the updated weather on BBC and it certainly implies that the rain should clear through by about 2.30 up there. In fact here in Wycombe at the moment (11am), theres a definate 'brightness' to the sky and the rain is now just a drizzle... Here's hoping for you. It's certainly coming your way....

Mr Benn wrote:I know I was gutted when I went to RIAT this year and the fact they cancelled the mass flyover because of 20 minutes of rain. (yes , I'm still bitter ! ) But at least I did get to see the rest of the day interrupted. I guess having any outdoor even late September is increasing the chances of poor weather.
Will there be a live stream anywhere of what ever happens at todays show ?
I saw that as pointless too when after that the weather was fine and dandy. After that I felt like going home as I was really geared up to see that.
Imperial War Museum Duxford Hi Andy, some of the Pre-War Trainers and the Voyager unfortunately won't be flying today, but at this time this is the only change. Any further updates will be posted on our Twitter and Facebook channels as soon as this information is available. We hope you have a great day, a bit of rain won’t stop us! 4 Manage Like · Reply · 15m
12 knotts, gusting to 20 in Cambridge at the moment.
Not too bad then but still a concern for the older contingent. (Aircraft not spectators).
They flew 16 Tiger Moths on 100 formation. Aeroplanes and pilots are made of stronger stuff than many think... Even though I've seen the Shuttleworth stuff countless times their absence is quite a hole in the programme. Voyager was expected to cancel, let's face it..
