Saturday Duxford what to expect

Post by Mooycow »

We are attending Duxford this Saturday, do we take a picnic and chairs , will there be any where to sit ? Never been before , can anyone help ?
Also if we take a picnic and leave it in the car , how far is the parking to the show ? Thank you in advance x

Every time I've been we've managed to get parked up on the site next to the American Air Museum, so easy to get back to the car. There is off site parking over the road I believe which is a longer trek.

Yes take camping chairs, there's a new grandstand but special tickets were needed for that. The rest of the crowd will be on tarmac or grass with their chairs etc.

Best to arrive as early as you can.
