Just leaving now, weather already 20 degrees at Fairford. 😮
Might need a new thermometer!
It's barely 10 C!
Really? RIAT FB said its already 20.

It’s 20 degrees today on the showground and expected to get even hotter. Make sure you bring drinks, sun cream, hats, and sunglasses. See you soon!

For those interested, sadly FRIAT are no longer giving away the annual RIAT Squadron Prints posters with your gift. A shame as I have been collected those since 2004.

Not really!
At least in Welford. Maybe it is a lot hotter a mile down the road!

Might be true in a few hours though!

Were going down the Cotswolds/ Red route on Saturday instead of the M5 Green route , due to family pick up. Were aiming to get to the BASE car park about 9, so trying to judge how long its going to take. Im guessing the build up of traffic around the base is pretty much the same for both Red or Green routes ? Thanks.

Have a great day all those going today .

When you say BASE car park? Are you wanting to park on the actual hard surface that you get in parts of Green?

It's varies year to year, so impossible to judge. Earlier the better is the sage advice

Red is always busier but at 9am I'd expect to join the back of a fairly long queue whichever route you're on. Also expect to be quite some way back by 9am.

We'll be there by 630 / 7 on Sunday - that has usually got me pretty close in the car park and the queue to actually get in is moving by then.

I look at this thread and the arrivals thread and keep hoping that me working all this weekend and not being able to get any leave is actually a bad dream and I’ll wake up in the Cotswolds.

It’s got to be a bad dream, just got to be.
