I've heard of 4 unconfirmed aircraft that are yet to be added via social media postings.

Not confirmed though.

Hmmm. Wrong colour for the NHS Spitfire, 4 blades on the Hurricane prop., Mustangs only had stars on one wing and it looks like the workshop cafe is being demolished. Looks like green zone parking is mainly north side.

I like it.

The IWM site states that car park tickets should be displayed on arrival but doesn't seem to say what to do if you can't print it out. I assume you just show it at the gate on arrival at the same time as your ticket.

It does look as though the tank bank is open. Which is significant.

*Duxford Summer Air Show Update*
In light of the latest government guidance, we’re delighted to announce a number of changes to the Duxford Summer Air Show 2021:
- All hangers and exhibition spaces will now be open, providing even more for ticket holders to explore and enjoy over the weekend.
- All visitors will have unrestricted access to showground once they enter for the duration of their day. The Blue, Green and Red Zones will remain, but will be used for parking, entering and exiting the site only.
- More fantastic flying acts continue to be added to the schedule, which includes the RAF Red Arrows, P-47D Thunderbolt, TG-51D Mustang, Grumman Wildcat FM2, B-17G Flying Fortress, PBY-5A Catalina, RAF Typhoon, five Spitfires and many more.
Changes in capacity mean that we can now release more tickets for both days. We’re delighted to enable more visitors to attend one of the only in-person air shows taking place this year. Tickets are still advance only and will sell fast.

Good on Duxford for the flex, I always thought it would be on the cards following the rule change. They would be daft not to, there are benefits to the hosts and to visitors.

A vaccination record showing proof of two doses of the Moderna, AstraZeneca or Pfizer vaccine, or one dose of the Janssen vaccine - you must have had your second dose at least two weeks before attending.

Please do not bring your physical test as this will not be accepted as proof.

On arrival, ticket holders aged 16 and over will be encouraged to scan in via the NHS Test and Trace app or provide their contact details on arrival.

An email or text with a negative PCR test or rapid lateral flow test result within the past 48 hours. (For Saturday attenders – your lateral flow test will need to be taken and reported on the Thursday before the event, for Sunday attenders – your lateral flow test will need to be taken and reported on the Friday before the event). Rapid lateral flow tests are free to order via the NHS website.

No it isn’t. It is a very well planned extension to give maximum benefit for paying customers in line with the conditions set by the local overseeing authority.

Not a U-Turn in the slightest. The layout was set out when there was restrictions and it was necessary. Boris didn't go ahead with, and approve plans for lifting restrictions until Monday past. Duxford acted within the regulations at the time, and now the restrictions have been lifted they have acted as such.

Great the hangars are open now, but no shuttle bus means a walk from the train station. Also very good we now have free movement on the airfield meaning we have full access to the flight line walk and not the zoned flight line walk that was planned.

Nice additions and has really beefed up the show a bit. Surprised there is no Chinook but they haven't achieved PDA yet.

Good to see, love the Hun Hunter - one of the best looking P-51s around.

Is Berlin Express still at Duxford?

Would be good to see more of the based American stuff - P-40, Hawk 75, Bearcat, Corsair etc.

Or any of the more esoteric based items - the Fury, Nimrods etc.

Hopefully more to come in the next week.

At the moment I’ll just be happy to get back to a show!

Berlin Express is still at Duxford but hasn't flown since it and Hun Hunter returned from Switzerland. The Corsair and P-40F have flown at the Flying days recently. The P-40C, Hawk 75, P-36 and Bearcat have yet to make an airshow appearance this year. Possibly one or two additions this week, maybe the Buchon or Hurricane.

Anything else due to be added to the lineup at this late stage…?

Looks a bit thin on the ground for 4 hrs of flying, considering some of what is currently confirmed will likely display together?
