What happened to Sally B? She did one circuit and landed back, must have had some sort of (hopefully minor) problem.

Been watching the live stream this afternoon, had some decent highlights. Loved the Pitts display from Rich Goodwin with a couple of added bangs and ground based firework and knife edge pass. Shame to see the BBMF flypast was just the one run and Sally B literally taking off and landing almost not worth the effort. Also The Blades putting on a restricted show then being totally out flown by The Global Stars who i really enjoyed. Also hearing that people got injured by security guards who insisted on moving the crowds back by the Red Arrows and this led to people getting crushed between the live stage and a badly positioned Ice Cream van. This really shouldn't be happening at an event like this! I had it described as a shambles!

F18 brilliant, F35 rubbish, Sally B - that's a shame, but I thought there may have been a technical issue, Reds must have used more fuel setting up with the A400 than coming down from Lincolnshire. Warbirds seemed to get stuck in a boomerang routine guessing what to enhance it with. 727 was great again.

Had an AA man trying to enforce the road closure on me whilst I was walking to my intended location, I didn't speak to him, and got a load of comments after me that I'll get thrown out, didn't see anybody.

Got to agree the 727 was excellent but then i was expecting just the flypast with The Blades. Strange with some of the warbirds that just seemed to go back and forth yet both the Spitfire and the Bearcat were doing 1/2 cubans.

For a varied display you'd expect at a reasonable sized airshow - a half decent line up, a bit of everything thrown in, for a show with the heritage and prestige of Farnborough, lousy.

Not according to 99% of people that we t then posted what a great day they had on the social media sites! Yes these arnt enthusiasts, they are people who just enjoyed a day out at an airshow! Yes you could say Riat for the enthusiast is a better option, but even the enthusist was complaining about endless noisy grey planes at that show!!! Farnborough will again be a sell out in 2018, why do
They need to change it for the few when the masses are happy?

First time I'd been to FIA but have been to numerous shows in the past Leuchars, Ayr, Valley, Cosford, Biggin Hill,Mildenhall...
Free parking..some folk rather upset about the Saturday exit from Queens Parade but I had no issue. Got in to car park with no real delay. Walked in with maybe a ten minute queue.
not great for photographing the static but nice to get so close to the aircraft. We watched the show from the far end beyond Sally B. Plenty of space there and the display seemed centred there.
star turn was the Pitts display.. all aerobatic displays that followed seemed tame. Fa-18 easily the best fast jet display especially Sunday.
F-35 display was very meek.
£30 each For sat/sun ticket seemed reasonable to me. The airbus pair were worth half of that alone.
