What is the difference between a de Havilland Chipmunk and a DHC-1 Chipmunk,to me it is the same aircraft. :dizzy: :dizzy:

De Havilland Chipmunks were made in the UK and a DHC-1 Chipmunks of various marks were built in Canada & initially came to the UK for sales purposes. Ostensibly the 'same critter' I hear you cry, but there are persons galore for whom the detail is in the detail. I for one won't be having cold sweats about seeing them !

Love to see that lot at Eastbourne, some of it seems a tad modern. ;-)
Most will stay for the weekend.

That plan is the slightly smaller version with the cargo stuff cut off.

The F-15SE has been cancelled. Perhaps this is meant to be the F-15SA?

I'm presuming this is an F-15SA (Saudi Arabia) which has been misread as F-15SE.

I wouldn't be inclined to put money on that.....I would imagine at least some of the Boeing and Bombardier participants would be on the move by Thursday for starters

Love all the stuff that's being confirmed for 'static' at the weekend. How about some 'flying' stuff. After all it's supposed to be an air show!

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but in 2014 (when the Spanish Navy harrier was last at FIA) it wasn't around for the trade days was it? Didn't it just turn up on the Thursday/Friday and ONLY displayed on the public days?

It was there on the trade days in 2014, but only as static.
