There are no fast jets from Shawbury due to fly at Cosford today.

The Typhoons are displaying at Cholmondeley pageant of power then later at Biggin.

It would be perhaps be nice if the RAF came to the rescue and offered the New Hawk T2 role demo Duo to replace the Ramex Delta, I think that they already have their PDA and have displayed at the RAF Valley families day?

Only a thought.

Wishing the RAF Cosford team best of luck with the show tomorrow, for those not able to go Planes TV are showing it live over the net.

I believe that the same problem applies with funding Cosford have to pay for the RAF demos where as the international NATO country items are free. I'm sure someone on here with better knowledge than me will confirm it but that was the idea I got from reading the thread on here.

I understand this might not get answered now, but is there going to be some form of enforcement to the people who set up tents and massive wind breaks against the fence line taking up loads of room?

Yes. It was at Northolt but didn't display because of low cloud base. Was going to Biggin and then onto Cosford.

Another post I think referred to the car park access across the runway being until a certain time then the airfield is open for movements, but that was before the display was due to start so I think it's definitely possible. Hope so - looking forward to seeing the sharkmouth Mustang in the flesh!

Gulp!
I hope you don't come near my tent, then.

Easily done, just follow the guides/FAQ's and you won't be clobbered.

A Tent/Gazebo?
Tents, Gazebos and similar items are not permitted along the crowd line as they are a flight safety hazard. These items are at risk of being blown away and can cause considerable damage to aircraft and disrupt airfield operations. They also block the view of other visitors which is unacceptable.
