The BBC forecast is different to what the Met Office is reporting so fingers crossed. I sometimes use the met office when teaching my geography classes as they seem to be more accurate. But as i said fingers crossed.

Oh well if it rains it rains lets just hope for high cloud so we can see full displays. Do we know any display times ? Cosford don't normally publish the flying program do they ?

I agree in my experience that the BBC weather forecast is not as accurate as some our weather websites, they seem slow and lagged behind other forecasts but evetually arrive at about the same forecast as others have updated hours before. There are a number of well known former weather presenters who are at Netweather.tv

I always use Netweather.tv for my forecast they seem v. good and accurate and they have an app too. BBC weather states rain expected around 3pm at Cosford area. However, Netweather.tv say that rain is not expected until 4pm and will be light before turning heavy later on. I use albrighton as a place for a forcast as its literally next to RAF Cosford. Copy & paste below link into your web browser

http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?acti ... =#forecast

Anyways, i off to RAF Cosford in a little while. Its still exciting albeit with rain forcasted at some point.Just love airshows. It SHOW TIME!!

I think its the strenght of the wind that will pose a problem for todays airshow not the rainto be quite honest. Its forcast for 4 - 9 mph at moment strenghening to 15 to 21 mph by 1pm and stronger still 25 - 37 mph later afternoon and into the evening.

I guess older planes especially pre 1950's may be beyond their safe operating display limits.

Very impressed with the 109 display seemed much better than in previous years. Also i loved the typhoon display but i think i am maybe the only person who prefers the flat display.

The Typhoon seemed to make a nice topside pass.
