Everything will be shut. No naughty fields at all this year at Cosford. Not sure how serious it will have to be policed. Can't exactly evacuate the whole of Albrighton. Will the displays be stopped if people are in the fields ? I'm sure local residents will view the show from these said areas after all there access can't really be restricted as they'll be inside the cordon.

Every household in Albrighton has been given 10 sets of curtains each and have been told to sit under their dining room table for the duration of Sunday afternoon.

Except when the RAF Typhoon and Red Arrows are on, when they are perfectly safe to watch them display in the far distance.

I find that these road closure restrictions totally unacceptable to the Locals and businesses such as shops pubs and takeaway outlets that have the right to fair trade. It is clear that no proper consultation has taken place here.
The roads should stay freely open to all and ONLY roadside directional signage erected just to those travelled that have tickets to attend the AirShow.
People should not be affected by this event so Cosford Airshow can solely profit on the day at the expense of other businesses, Locals and the distanced travelling visitors wishing to visit residents that have no interest in this event, this is very wrong of the Airshow organisers. If they are actually so concerned about the risk to public safety, then perhaps they ought to evacuate all residents that live within the flying zone to five-star Hotels abroad for a week and even consider cancelling all Airshow events 'just in case' if they really think there just might be a risk of an air crash.
FYi At all airports in the realm thousands of passenger flights come and go each day over residential areas. Cosford Airshow has a great safety record, so why be so concerned. This is really silly.
What about the people that have pre-booked reservations at the pubs in Albrighton High Street/Newport Road that are denied access, this is surely unacceptable interference with businesses, and what about those that wish to view this in safe viewpoint car parking fields that have travelled far expecting to get to there destination.

Behave,
All the extra passing trade that comes from people being at the show and having a meal on the way home. Or staying in the local B&Bs hotels etc. The road closures have been going on for years. These new restrictions are not for the whole day either. If you don't fancy the show yourself then fine. But come on -it's one day out of the whole year.
