Or to use its proper name of St. Aubins Bay.

Not sure I understand. What part of the Facebook post (which I presume you're referring to) isn't true?

My mistake I thought I'd read it to say 'at an air show' rather than the air show.

Blenheim was actually one of the very first displays announced. It's been on the website since the 2018 display list went live.

The French support to the UK airshow scene this year is phenominal, surely the Rafale solo wouldn't do RIAT, Duxford and Cosford? I'm thinking it will be either the Alpha jet solo or PDF, either would be excellent additions.

The one thing that this clue announcement has taught me is that a large majority of Social Media easily confuses the Rafale for a teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle that fights crime and lives in the sewer with a big talking rat.

It won't be the PDF I'm afraid - their only UK date is Duxford in May this year.

Let's be honest, it may be something pretty low-intensity like the EA-300 pair that's down for Duxford. The Alpha-Jet solo would be cool. I really enjoyed that at Scampton.

I don't think it'll be the alpha jet as I remember seeing the team say on social media that they weren't displaying in the uk this year. My guess is it'll be the rafale solo which would be a fantastic addition !!

The tweet also said the type has never visited Cosford....Rafale has never. On a quick Google research it seems the Mirage 2000N had visited in previous years, but Couteau fly the 2000D variant so could be either to be fair. May not even be anything related, could be French Army Gazelle's

The 2000Ns of Ramex Delta were due a couple of years ago but had to cancel. I have a feeling a 2000C solo appeared at Cosford some years ago, when I couldn't do the show but I may be dreaming.

Why the earlier poster was negative about the French AF Extra display, I don't know, a real rarity! And low intensity - in an Extra? :joystick: :hypno:

I think the M-2000C was 2001, I was there but as an Air Cadet in one of the hangars and missed it

2001 would have been the rare M-2000B solo variant, on the circuit from Orange.
