Anyone there today ? I’m about 10 miles from Cosford and the weather is atrocious and looks like it’s here for the day. . Anyone know if anything’s planned to practice this afternoon?

Weather and visbility at Shawbury is poor. Suspect any planned practice displays may not go ahead, but that's only a guess (Gripen has a slot allocated for this afternoon).

Thanks for the info. I’ll head over tomorrow instead and hope for better weather.

Yellow weather warnings for today and saturday in Birmingham.
Very poor weather today . Been hiising it down all day. Lets hope it blows over for Sunday. But it looks terrible at the moment.

The forecast on the BBC website for Sunday looks pretty-good now, that day surrounded by rather damp days before and after.

Indeed. Not looking good tomorrow, either. Hopefully the ground will be OK...

Not sure about damp before. Flooded here by the Jag plant castle vale.

The forecasts for tomorrow seem a bit hit and miss for the afternoon. Watching the bbc forecast on bbc1 it looked like the showers finished about mid-day. Im not as hardy (mad ? ) as you guys , but would like to seem some fly in / practices as i cant make the Sunday . I can make the Monday as well , but wont see any practices tho.
I live about an hour away and have never been to an arrivals day. From what I read the railway station is the best place to head ? I will be driving , so is there parking around there. ?
When do you guys get an idea of what and when be planned to arrive tomorrow ?

Thanks for any tips.

Hi,
I go on the train so unfortunately can't help you with where to park. Although, I did go Saturday to watch the practices and arrivals last year. From what I remember things started to happen at around 13:15-30. I'm pretty sure there isn't a schedule available and you sort go and see what turns up. The F16 and Mig29 did practice displays and there were a few arrivals. There were quite a few people at the station last year and it does provide a great view.

Did anything arrive today ? That's if anyone went along and braved the awful weather.I suspect most rehearsals/validations will take place late tomorrow afternoon as the weather looks better from 1600 onwards.

Yes, fair amount in today.

Slovak L-410 hasn't arrived yet, no sign of a fuel stop anywhere either.
