Hornet has a 2pm practise time, obviously weather dependant.

I hope he’s not been called away on an operational tasking.

Drone incursion has suspended all flying, apparently? Don't think the Czech AF have validated yet.

Correct, plenty of RAF Police patrols outside now. Still waiting for the Czech Gripen and ALCAS to turn up.

Though the RR Spit XI and a Cessna Caravan have just taken off, so hopefully the Czech contingent can get over quickly.

Surely they can keep the airfield open for a little longer to validate the Czechs? Or is it not as simple as that?

This whole drone thing is going to become a paradise for idiots and attention seekers on the internet ... 'oohhh look at what Ive done to ruin peoples day ' .. Police have gone to stamp hard on it from the start.

Anyway, it wasnt great weather , but there was some hardy souls there in our big coats (in June eh ! )
I managed to see some of the planes ; Orion , Spitfirse, and the the Swiss Hornet

Short video of the Swiss hornet I took https://youtu.be/Zq6p71doBV8

Think the temporary restricted airspace was only in place until 1700z 1800l so probably diff8cult to have a validation after this time.
