It's a good update. The Belgian Viper has always been a little underrated I feel. Nice to see the other updates too and it is of course nice to see the annual 'touch of nostalgia' that is a JP

That has got me excited, been after one of those for years. Not going to excite the afterburner brigade but does a reg spotter who particularly collects light aircraft in military service. Can we have some French Jodels too (if they are still about?)!

As well as the cracking update today, looks like we have lost one of the four German Typhoons but gained a further Tornado in its place.

I have a feeling it was a 33rd Wing aircraft listed before but as a Typhoon, not even sure if they have Typhoons at Buchel yet?

Hello

Your correct Capercillie

I have sent them a mail last week that it was not correct (unit or type) also the unit of Dutch Chinook was not correct in the confirmed aircraft list the last week(s) .

So they changed the aircraft of TLG 33 from Typhoon to Tornado.
Also changed the Dutch Chinook from 296 Sqn (incorrect) to 298 Sqn (correct)

Pieter, your email was most appreciated. The Dutch information was an unfortunate typo when being inputted to the website, the German info was as supplied by the Embassy! All now corrected, again thank you.

Really glad the AN-26 is coming, for some reason I love that particular aircraft. Strangely I'm also glad to see the Belgian Herc coming back, only because my boy got a really cool T-shirt from their 'mini stall' last year, I wanted one the same but was too embarrassed to ask if they had adult sizes. Wont make that mistake this year!

I remember a couple of years ago the Norwegian Herc selling t-shirts 3 for a tenner! Certainly put the other stands to shame...

Something for everyone in that update!

Couple of heavies in the static, Soviet hardware, a pretty good European fast jet display, couple of static jets, and a super rare aircraft that I've been wanting to catch for ages!

Nice one, DBH.

Indeed - much better to wait for official confirmation from DBH, the rumoured info has already been reported...

Another cracking update and good support from Belgium and the F-16 is i think the Best F-16 demo for the past few years (not saying the others were not good but the Belgian one was the best).Good too see another Herky on static and the Super Cub is a good little catch and fits in well with the Cadets theme this year as well as a Grob Tutor and not forgetting a JP as that was a training jet in days gone by and too note the JP gave a nice arrival in 2012 with 2 or three flybys.Great too see the Hungarians back with a Gripen and an Antonov AN-26 a great looking aircraft lets hope they can make it this year  As for the RJFs well RIAT would not be RIAT without them  Almost a cert they will arrive Wednesday and do a practice display later that day
