The Falcons were great last year on the Sunday when the display was running slightly behind and they were really flexible in allowing us to get the Reds out to Silverstone.

Of course, Murphy's law meant that one hit a hare on landing and delayed the Reds anyway!

Are RAFAT the Beefeaters?
With just the slightest bit of finesse, I might have made a little less mess.

Thankfully ( ), it would appear no Dave...

I detest the thing (dunno if you were aware!) but for such an important anniversary and the carrot dangling of the current LN deployment, it is a bit rubbish really.

Does this mean no USAF F-35, but could we still see an RAF example?

All RAF aircraft are US bound until at least next year.

Indeed, and with all involved in "the program" they pull the strings with regard to participation it would appear. Don't know ( and care even less) if the Dutch and Italian ones can be flown outside "the program" and fly where their respective air arm wants.

It's as if you don't like it or something st24 :-P

Like it or not, it's a bit of a shame/surprise it won't be there for their anniversary bash. But we did see it last year so can't complain.

Sorry if i read your message wrong but f35 from Netherlands is probaly a no go The only reason the f35 was in the netherlands to test for sounds etc and have people living close to the bases get to know the new fighter jet of the dutch airforce.

Plus testing if the data links to monitor the aircraft's health were working over such a long distance plus finding out the tires don't like the asphalt of the European runways as much as the ones in CONUS.

The best chance of having a F-35 is if an Italian built example heading to the US to join "the program" drops in for the weekend, I think.

Can't say I'm surprised/bothered. I'm sure it'll appear many times in the future, hopefully with a full A model display.

It's yesterday's press release copied and pasted.

Ah ok, I didn't see the press release and I don't think it was mentioned on here was it? Did we already know the Slovenians were coming back for more this year?
